Who am I?

Tayyaba Iftikhar is pursuing a bachelors degree in Mass Communication. She’s known by many names: Tab,  Tay and Timbukto are some of them. Feel free to call her any of these.

She’s dragging her feet through  university, fighting a war against procrastination and trying to achieve a little place of her own in this world.

The journey is perilous but she hopes she makes it through.

Oh, and she loves cake.

  12. Hi Tab……..thanks for stopping by ‘Unwalled’ and liking my Mother’s Day post. You’re blog is quite colorful and interesting. I’m glad you chose writing as your way to escape……..it’s far more healthy than many other choices :).
All the best with your journey through university………one thing that helped me was to keep thinking that my degrees were only tools I needed to help achieve my career goals and I kept visualizing graduation day……..the other thing was prayer……..Shalom!…..Kim

    • You’re welcome!

And Thank YOU for dropping in an awesome comment!
Hah, that’s what I do! Think of the day I would graduate, even though it sends a pang through my heart.

  13. I really like how you’ve customized your blog! It looks and feels good. I recently wrote about how writing soothes me… It reaally is an escape to a beautiful world. And on a side note, I like your blog:) Do you live in Pakistan?
I like cake too:) But those that are not very sweet and non-chocolatty. And I may say I bake well. Should I bake you one? 😉

    • Thank You, Moniba!
It really is, isn’t it? Come to think of it, writes2escape just floated in my head without just one big thought!

Yus, I live in the Land of Pure aka Pakistan! Oh, not much of a sugar person are you? 😉 Oh, Yes please! I bet it would taste out of this universe!

  14. AnkitaD says:

is it unconditional love for cake, or it just depends? For me, if it’s chocolate and whipped cream, then I am totally set.

    • It’s pure unconditional love, I tell you. A bit disturbing but totally pure.

Oh Yum, sounds delish. I can eat any cake – experimentation is the thing – but keep the pineapples off, please!
